This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, reports "Lenta.ru". According to the diplomat, such statements can be interpreted as an admission of attempts to organize an armed coup. "Washington has openly called for destabilization in Iran and the collapse of statehood more than once," Zakharova emphasized. The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the actions of the USA contradict the international principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states. She pointed out that the consequences of such Washington's policy can be seen in the example of other countries in the region.
