About 7 million vehicles traveled on toll roads in Tatarstan over the year.

      Over the past year, more than 6.9 million vehicles traveled on paid roads in Tatarstan, including over 1.6 million on the "Alekseevskoye - Almetyevsk" highway and more than 5.2 million on the second stage of the Voznesensky tract. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan. "The average daily traffic on the Alekseevskoye - Almetyevsk road is 6,000 vehicles, and on the second stage of the Voznesensky tract, it is 14,000 vehicles," the message states. The law establishes a five-day period for payment of tolls on paid highways. The toll must be paid on time to avoid a fine. For car owners, it amounts to 1,500 rubles, and for trucks and buses, it is 5,000 rubles. Payment for passage can be made on the websites of the highways by entering the vehicle's registration number. Payments made through other applications and websites are not considered. Passage through the bypass of Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk and the M12 "East" highway must also be paid on the official website "Avtodor - Paid Roads" within the five-day period. "The introduction of paid roads is part of a comprehensive strategy for modernizing the region's transport infrastructure aimed at increasing its capacity and reducing the load on existing free highways. However, it is important to understand that this is a voluntary alternative. Timely payment is required for the use of paid roads," noted the Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ranis Faizullin.
