The spring phase of the "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" campaign is starting in Tatarstan.

      In the republic, from April 20 to June 20, 2026, the spring phase of the environmental campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" will take place, aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental Well-Being," the organizers reported. "Preserving the forest riches of the republic is our common task. The annual campaign 'Clean Forests of Tatarstan' not only improves the sanitary condition of the forests but also unites concerned residents in the effort to protect nature. Last year, thanks to the participation of 30,000 volunteers, 800 cubic meters of garbage were collected and removed from the forest fund, and 5,200 cubic meters of deadwood and fallen branches were piled for decomposition," noted Ilgizar Zaripov, the first deputy minister of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the campaign, large-scale work will be carried out to clean the forest fund from solid municipal waste, deadwood, and fallen branches. In addition, forestry specialists in the republic will repair and equip signs, information boards, and rest areas for citizens visiting the forests. Everyone is invited to participate in the campaign – representatives of organizations, enterprises, educational institutions, and simply concerned citizens.

      The "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" campaign will also take place in the fall. The autumn phase is scheduled for the period from September 14 to November 14 of this year.
