      As of March 1, 2026, the share of overdue debt of legal entities in Tatarstan amounted to 2.00%. This is evidenced by a study by RIA Novosti. Over the past 12 months, this indicator in the republic has increased by 0.22 percentage points. Tatarstan ranked 29th among the regions of Russia. For comparison: in the Krasnodar Territory, the share of overdue debt was 1.75% (22nd place), in the Nizhny Novgorod region — 1.86% (25th place), in the Udmurt Republic — 1.79% (24th place). As noted in the study, the growth rate of debt on loans to corporate clients has reached a five-year low. From March 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026, the volume of loan debt increased by 11% (in 2024, the growth was 25.9%). The share of overdue debt across Russia dropped to 3.55%. At the same time, there is significant differentiation among regions: the share of overdue debt varies from 0.02% to 45.21%. The median value across the country as of March 1, 2026, was 3.03%. Chukotka and the Magadan region lead in payment discipline, while the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Dagestan are at the bottom of the list.
