A large-scale competition for children's questions about construction called "Ask the Builder" has started in Russia. A unique opportunity has arisen for kids aged six to seventeen. The best questions will receive answers personally from the chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of Russia, Sergey Stepashin, and the head of the ministry, Irek Faizullin. This was reported by the organizers. The competition is being held as part of the project "I am the builder of the future." The event is included in the plan of the Decade of Childhood in Russia. Participants can submit both text and video questions on the topics of construction and housing and communal services. The competition is divided into three age groups: six to nine years, ten to fourteen years, and fifteen to seventeen years.
The jury will evaluate the works in three nominations. The first is for the most original text question. The second is for the best video question. The third is for the most interesting question about the history of construction. Winners will be invited to a solemn award ceremony, which will take place during the celebration of Builder's Day in 2026. The acceptance of questions will last until July 16. Works can be submitted through the official website of the competition. Each participant has the right to submit up to three works in each nomination. Participation is completely free. The organizers urge schoolchildren in Tatarstan not to miss the chance to communicate with the top officials of the country's construction industry.
