       In the Republic of Tatarstan, with the onset of stable warm weather and the official opening of the motorcycle season, motorcycle patrols of the State Traffic Inspectorate have begun their duty to restore order on the roads and rein in reckless riders on two-wheeled vehicles.

       As reported on Thursday by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, mobile and highly maneuverable traffic police crews will perform a wide range of tasks to ensure road safety, paying special attention to monitoring compliance with traffic rules by motorcyclists, who, with the arrival of warm weather, are massively taking to the streets of cities and suburban highways. In addition, one of the key tasks of the motorcycle patrols will be to catch underage teenagers who get behind the wheel of motorcycles and scooters without a driver's license and create emergency situations, as well as to identify and promptly detain drunk drivers. Thanks to their compactness and ability to maneuver in dense urban traffic, motorcycle patrols will be able to arrive at the scenes of traffic accidents for first aid and documentation much faster than classic car crews, as well as effectively assist in regulating traffic in complex road situations, such as traffic jams and sudden deterioration of weather conditions. Currently, 37 specially trained inspectors on powerful patrol motorcycles are already in service. In addition, as clarified in the agency's message, another 36 employees are undergoing all necessary intensive training to soon join the ranks of the two-wheeled police and take control of all areas of the republic. The day before, it was reported that fraudsters had stolen 1.5 billion rubles from the residents of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.
