The State Housing Fund has provided housing for more than 1,200 families in Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.

      The annual housing plan has been fulfilled by almost half. All apartments have been handed over to the new residents with finished repairs, plumbing, and stoves. Since the beginning of the year, 1,279 families in Tatarstan have improved their housing conditions. They received apartments under the social mortgage program from the State Housing Fund. A total of 31 houses have been put into operation in the republic. Their total area exceeds 65 thousand square meters. This accounts for just over 43 percent of the total annual plan. The apartments are handed over to the new residents fully ready for living. Each has been renovated, plumbing has been installed, sensors and meters have been mounted, and electric or gas stoves have been provided. Just move in and live — nothing needs to be finished. In total, in 2026, the State Housing Fund plans to provide housing for three thousand one hundred twenty-three Tatarstan families. To achieve this, 108 houses with a total area of nearly 151 thousand square meters will be built in the cities and districts of the republic. In Kazan, the construction of five houses with 774 apartments has already been completed. They are being prepared for occupancy. Four new buildings are located in the residential complex "80 Years of Victory" in the "Salavat Kupere" area. Another house has been built in the "Gailä" microdistrict. At the same time, five more houses with 1,528 apartments are being constructed in these same areas. In Naberezhnye Chelny, six houses are being built — that’s 942 apartments. In Nizhnekamsk, two houses are being constructed, with 170 apartments in each. Active construction is also underway in other settlements of the republic. New houses are appearing in Agryz, Arsk, Laishevo, Mendeleevsk, as well as in Alekseevsky, Kukmorsky, and Sarmanovsky districts and other municipalities. The social mortgage program from the State Housing Fund helps to fulfill one of the main tasks of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" — increasing the housing provision for the citizens of Tatarstan. Each new house is someone’s new apartment, where children will grow up, families will gather around a common table, and plans for the future will be made.
