According to the resolution of the republic's government published on the legal information website, by 2030, the region plans to increase the percentage of people surviving with cancer for more than 5 years by 7%. To achieve this goal, the republic intends to increase the accessibility of diagnosis and treatment of this disease, namely: improve the comprehensive measures for primary and secondary cancer prevention, enhance the routing process for patients suspected of having malignant tumors, implement information technologies in the work of the oncology service, develop measures to fully staff oncologists, and introduce methods of treatment with radiopharmaceutical drugs.

A total of 466.9 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of this program over the next two years. Of this, 288.2 million will be allocated in 2026 and 178.7 million in 2027. Part of the funds will come from the state budget, and part from the republican budget.
