Pedagogical marathon "How to become a super professional?"

      On May 26, a significant and very original event titled "Pedagogical Marathon: How to Become a Super Professional?" took place within the walls of Kazan Innovative University. Its initiator is the jubilarian Daniya Zagriyevna Akhmetova, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, Director of the Institute of Pedagogical Innovations and Inclusive Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

      The speakers included Daniya Zagriyevna Akhmetova and our partner-like-minded individuals Elena Arkadyevna Shumilova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (Kuban State University), Vitaly Zorakhovich Kantor — Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen), Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Government of St. Petersburg award for outstanding achievements in higher and secondary vocational education.

      The sincere stories of respected professors about their paths of professional and personal development, memorable moments from their personal biographies became a guiding light for the teachers, students of pedagogical fields, and all interested listeners in the hall. "The three main growth points for educators are continuous self-education and self-development, reflection (analysis of one's own activities), and the development of creativity," Daniya Zagriyevna emphasized in her speech. And, of course, belief in oneself, hard work, stress resilience, focus on people, kindness and compassion, love for children and parents are the most important personal qualities of an educator.

      The speeches of the speakers turned out to be not just interesting but truly motivating for the listeners in the hall towards their further professional and personal achievements. By the decision of the Academic Council of Kazan Innovative University, diplomas of honorary professors were awarded to V.Z. Kantor and E.A. Shumilova.
