Villagers will be able to buy groceries and pay bills in one visit without unnecessary trips. In Tatarstan, Tatarstan Consumer Union and Sberbank decided to combine efforts for the convenience of residents of remote villages. Mobile stores and bank mobile offices will now arrive in settlements simultaneously. This will allow villagers to buy groceries and solve all financial issues in one visit. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic. Tatarstan Consumer Union already supplies goods to more than two thousand villages and settlements in Tatarstan. Of these, 135 mobile stores regularly serve 1.3 thousand settlements. Just last year, the volume of retail trade through these mobile points amounted to almost 7 billion rubles. Each such vehicle brings in up to 390 thousand rubles in revenue per month. Currently, the number of mobile stores in the republic is growing, and the authorities are placing special emphasis on this. They not only sell groceries but also offer products from local producers, supporting the rural economy. Mobile offices of Sberbank, in turn, appear where there are no stationary branches. They provide a full range of services: from transfers to payment of utility bills and consultations. A joint schedule is a step towards ensuring that residents of remote areas, especially the elderly and people with disabilities, do not waste time and effort on separate trips to the district center. Everything necessary can be obtained in one place and at one time. In the near future, pilot synchronized outings will begin in several districts of the republic. If the project proves effective, it will be expanded to all municipalities.
