On June 20, a grand republican Sabantuy took place in Kazan. The Zainsky district presented its multinational courtyard — a delegation led by the district head Razif Karimov welcomed guests with chak-chak, karavai, and lively songs. 11 municipal districts of the republic showcased their courtyards in the forest area of the village of Mirny. At the heart of the celebration was the Zainsk courtyard, which was visited by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov and other honored guests. The people of Zainsk gifted the festival guests unforgettable emotions, hospitality, and a truly festive atmosphere. Only at our courtyard did guests have the unique opportunity to watch spectacular matches of the national wrestling koresh — the competitions were held with special enthusiasm and attracted the attention of numerous spectators. All visitors to the Sabantuy were treated to delicious national dishes, aromatic pancakes cooked in a real village oven, and fragrant tea from a wood-fired samovar. Additionally, workshops on embroidery and making Tatar headdresses, national dishes, an old mill, and a functioning bathhouse with herbal tea were organized for the festival guests. On the courtyard stage, the group "Hot Hearts" performed a vibrant concert program. The artists delighted the festival guests with energetic songs, creating a truly festive mood and presenting the culture of the district at a high level. The Sabantuy program included: a theatrical prologue about the rich heritage of the Tatar people, competitions in koresh, a concert featuring Salavat Fatkhutdinov, Filius Kagirov, Asaf Valeev, and about 2000 artists, as well as a ceremony honoring the best workers.
