Mendeleevsk is preparing art objects for the anniversary "Race of Heroes."

      Turbine containers, a tram, a diesel locomotive, and a bus have been brought to Mendeleevsk as obstacles for the upcoming "Race of Heroes," which will take place in Mendeleevsk on July 25. The objects will become stationary, and it has been decided to turn them into points of attraction for residents and tourists, making them "speak" about the history and identity of Mendeleevsk, reports the district press service. "The sketches reflect the very essence of Mendeleevsk as a city of chemists and the cradle of the country's chemical industry. Our literary and historical roots are also reflected. Thus, the locomotive will be adorned with a portrait of Dmitry Mendeleev and images of chemical elements that will form the motto of the race, while the 'passengers' of the tram will be literary classics, symbolizing the Pasternak readings that take place here annually," quotes the district administration head Robert Iskandarov. A heroes' bus will also appear. Most of the equipment was produced in Tatarstan. A team of artists is starting work, and the objects must be ready by July 25, the start of the anniversary "Race of Heroes": from dawn to dusk, which promises to be record-breaking in duration, from 3 AM to 11 PM, and in the number of participants.
