In the Republic of Tatarstan, the system of social guarantees for military personnel and their relatives continues to expand. As of July 1, 2026, the municipal register recorded 3,094 support measures distributed across 16 key areas. This data was provided by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic, Mukharryam Ibyatov. The dynamics are positive: over three months – from early April to the end of June, the list of municipal acts increased by 12 positions. On April 1, there were 3,082, and by mid-year, the number grew by almost one and a half dozen. The main focus of the adopted decisions is on alleviating the financial burden for SVO fighters and their families. The most requested and widespread measure has been the exemption from self-assessment tax payments. Benefits for land tax and property tax for individuals are also actively applied.
An important place in the register is occupied by measures concerning families with children. Local government bodies have provided support in the educational sphere: schoolchildren from families of SVO participants are entitled to free hot meals, and parents are exempt from paying for their children's attendance at kindergartens. Mukharryam Ibyatov emphasized that all information about the existing municipal acts is publicly available. Every resident of the republic can independently familiarize themselves with the list on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for Tatarstan, on the regional legal information portal, as well as in the Unified Register of Normative Legal Acts. Furthermore, for the convenience of residents in the districts, information about available benefits is regularly published in local printed publications and is also posted on information boards in administrations and social institutions. This comprehensive approach, according to representatives of the department, allows for making information as accessible as possible for all categories of citizens.
