Thanks to the adopted decision, such documents remained valid for another three years; however, in 2026, their owners will need to undergo the replacement procedure.

      It is worth noting that the automatic extension applied to driver's licenses whose validity expired between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2025. For them, the document's validity was extended for three years without the need to contact the authorities.
