The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has requested information from leading producers of poultry and beef regarding product sales. This information has been published on the website of the antimonopoly agency. — Producers must provide data on production and sales volumes, wholesale prices, total costs, and profitability of sales for poultry and beef, — reports the press service. Producers will also need to explain the reasons for the increase in wholesale prices since the beginning of the current year. The FAS noted that based on the analysis, measures of antimonopoly response will be taken if there are grounds.
It was previously reported that the FAS in Tatarstan held three republican structures accountable: the executive committee of Yelabuga, the Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the region.
