The youth of Tatarstan will discuss future skills and changes in the labor market.
On August 17, an open discussion titled "Skills and Knowledge of the Future: What Will Be Valued in 10 Years?" will take place in Kazan. The event will be the opening event of the V Kazan Global Youth Summit. Participants in the discussion will address key changes expected in the labor market over the next decade and the competencies that will be in demand for future specialists. Experts will explain which skills will become fundamental, what modern specialists will need to relearn, and which competencies will remain an important advantage for humans in the era of rapid development of artificial intelligence.
The discussion will feature Timur Suleymanov, assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, head of the Kazan Global Youth Summit, and head of the Movement of the First in Tatarstan; Nadezhda Vanyukhina, PhD in Psychology, associate professor, head of the Department of Developmental Psychology and Psychophysiology at Kazan Innovative University; Aizat Farhutdinov, technical director of the company "Tekhnokratia"; Yulia Vershinina, head of the branch of the ANO "School 21" in Kazan; and Ranko Tepavchevich, general director of the Center for the Development of Creative Industries of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Center for Unique Mastery.
The moderator of the discussion will be Dilyara Yakubova, PhD in Philology, associate professor, head of the Center for Education and Educational Technologies "Sälet", and director of the "Sälet - Almagach" school.
The open discussion will take place on August 17 at 19:00 in the Center for Unique Mastery (auditorium 211). Participation is free, but prior registration is required.
The V Kazan Global Youth Summit will be held in Tatarstan from August 26 to 30, 2026. Its main theme will be "Education in the Era of Global Changes: Personnel for Sustainable Development."
About 250 delegates from 40 countries will participate in the Summit — leaders of government bodies in the fields of youth policy, labor, culture, education, and science, representatives of international organizations and universities, experts, young leaders, and influencers.
An open program will also be organized for residents and guests of Kazan as part of the Summit, including a science festival, educational sessions, and a cultural festival.
The organizers of the V Kazan Global Youth Summit are the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and Kazan Federal University.
