      Today, journalists were shown a new training and exercise ground for rescuers and firefighters located in the Laishevsky district of Tatarstan. The ground, resembling a training simulator, is divided into five clusters: "Emergency rescue operations related to firefighting," "Search and rescue operations," "Gas rescue operations," Administrative and domestic, and sports clusters. It will be led by Igor Katsiuruba, who previously headed the Kazan search and rescue team of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. His work experience spans 44 years: first in the fire service, then as a rescuer. "The training ground consists of three parts. On its territory, covering 12 hectares, there is an operational fire station No. 80, which will be responsible for eight settlements in the Laishevsky district. There is also an administrative and domestic complex with transformer classrooms that can be converted into a conference hall. Additionally, there are living quarters designed for 50 cadets. There is a cafeteria," Igor Katsiuruba said. The territory of the ground features a football field with stands, where various sports competitions will be held. Firefighters and rescuers will hone their skills on eight training complexes simulating various situations: fires in apartments, rescuing a person from a burning car, parachuting from a helicopter, lowering an injured person from a cliff, working on rubble, and many others. "There are no analogs of such grounds in the Russian Federation. The closest similar facility is in Armenia. This ground has gathered improved versions of training grounds from across the country. It is planned that not only rescuers and firefighters from all over the country will train here, but also rescuers from foreign states. Today, we will conduct exercises according to the international INSARAG system. They will last 18 hours and will start tonight at 10 PM," Igor Katsiuruba explained.
