In Tatarstan, 90% of the planned housing has been built.

      In Tatarstan, the annual housing construction program has been completed by 90% as of today, September 4, with developers having introduced 2 million 843 thousand square meters out of the planned 3 million 175 thousand. This was reported by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic. The meeting was conducted with video conferencing involving all municipalities in the region, led by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexey Pesoshin, and the acting Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov, as reported by the press service of the regional leader.

      In terms of commercial construction, 90% of the planned volume has been completed. This includes 105 apartment buildings with a total area of approximately 934 thousand square meters, noted the speaker. Meanwhile, under the social mortgage program, the annual plan has been fulfilled by 71% – the construction of 37 houses with a total area of over 106 thousand square meters has been completed. In the framework of individual housing construction, 1 million 802 thousand square meters of housing have been delivered – 91% of the plan, clarified Aizatullin.

      The minister dedicated a special part of his speech to the implementation of programs to provide housing for certain categories of citizens. Traditionally, this concerns four categories. Among orphans, 641 individuals are expected to receive housing this year. To date, the State Committee of Tatarstan for Procurement has concluded two state contracts for the acquisition of 195 residential premises.

      Now, the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic plans to announce an auction for the acquisition of another 65 residential premises under the third state contract. The apartments intended for orphans are located in 45 buildings under construction.

      Out of 22 certificates issued to large families with five or more children, 14 have been realized (total area of apartments – 1543 square meters). For the remaining eight certificate holders, residential premises are being selected by the State Housing Fund of Tatarstan.

      In the "Young Families" category, there are currently 61 recipients this year. Subsidy funds have already been used by 50 families, while the others are still in the process of selecting suitable apartments in the housing market.

      In the fourth category (forced migrants, migrants from the Far North, and liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster), two out of three families have acquired suitable housing. The remaining recipient will have their certificate issued after federal funds are allocated, noted the head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan.

      The republican program aimed at supporting housing construction includes 14 facilities. The completion of work related to road infrastructure stands at 89%. Over the past two weeks, four facilities have been completed: one each in the Almetyevsky and Apastovsky districts and two in the Vysokogorsky district. For six water supply network facilities, the completion of work is at 89%.
